A Glee-ful Funeral?

As some of you hardcore Gleeks may have already known, the penultimate episode of Glee this season is entitled “Funeral”, and yes, this means somebody will die.

Minor Spoiler Alert! I know some details about the character who might die this week but I’m still not entirely sure as to who it might be. If you don’t want to be spoiled AT ALL, then you better hit that back/close button, but if you would like to help me guess who dies, then read ahead!

All I know is that the character is female and she is NOT a member of New Directions. (whew!) So this leaves us with Terri, Emma, Sue, somebody’s mom, or someone who has yet to be introduced to us (a member of the Audio Visual Club maybe?). Did I miss anyone else?

But let’s be real here, Ryan Murphy won’t let the wonderful Jane Lynch go (even though she was so much funnier in season 1, no?). So who do you think will it be? My bet is that it’ll be someone’s relative. How about Carole, Finn’s mom and Kurt’s stepmother?

According to, it will be one of the most emotional episodes yet. Also, the cast will be singing “Pure Imagination” from the 1971 Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory. Visit the link below to listen to exclusive preview of the song:
Kurt seems to have the most parts in “Pure Imagination”, right? Hmmm… does this mean the one who’ll die was close to him? Or the death somehow revolves around him? Or am I just over-thinking this?

What do you think guys? Is it Terri? Carole? Emma? a random student? Lemme know your guesses! And are you as excited as I am for “Funeral” and for “Nationals”?

Happy Watching!
