We all adored her in 500 Days of Summer. And now, Zooey Deschanel stars in New Girl as the equally adorable lead.
"Oohh, I'm going to go milk my cows." With lines like this, she may just win my heart. The only question now is if Deschanel can keep up with her seemingly extremely likeable character or if she'll annoy the hell out of us after a couple of episodes. At least we'll have the 3 guys to keep things in balance. Plus, it will be a challenge for New Girl's producers to look for an equally talented replacement for funny-guy Damon Wayans Jr. since Happy Endings got renewed for a second season. (Damon's first commitment is to Happy Endings. And I demand all of you to go watch this show. No Pressure.)
And look at the Deschanel sisters both having shows on Fox! (Emily's on Bones.) Will there ever be a Bones-New Girl crossover? We'll just have to tune in to find out.
